About Intuit Dome
Intuit Dome opened in 2023 and is the home of the LA Clippers NBA team. During the 2028 Olympics, it will host basketball games as one of LA's primary indoor sports venues. The arena is located in Inglewood, California at 3939 South Prairie Avenue.
The arena is brand new, state-of-the-art, and designed with modern fans in mind. It's a stunning venue and you'll want to arrive early to soak in the atmosphere and explore the arena before games begin.
Getting to Intuit Dome by Metro
Like SoFi Stadium, Intuit Dome benefits from the K Line extension to Inglewood. However, the K Line has a different stop and exit point than SoFi, so it's important to plan your route carefully.
K Line to Intuit Dome: Take the K Line to the Inglewood/Downtown Inglewood station. From there, it's approximately a 10-15 minute walk to Intuit Dome, depending on which entrance you use.

Walking Routes from the K Line
The walk from Inglewood/Downtown Inglewood station to Intuit Dome is straightforward but takes longer than the walk to SoFi because Intuit Dome is located south of the station. Here's what to expect:
- Main Route: Exit the station and head south on prairie Avenue. The route is flat and well-lit.
- Walking Time: 10-15 minutes depending on your pace and which entrance you use
- Signage: Metro will have clear directional signage for Olympic visitors
- Crowding: During basketball games, expect moderate to heavy foot traffic on the walking path
- Accessibility: The route has sidewalks suitable for wheelchairs and mobility devices
Alternative: Walking from SoFi
If you arrive at SoFi Stadium by K Line first, you can walk to Intuit Dome if you have time. It's approximately 1.5 miles apart — about 25-30 minutes on foot. This is not ideal, so stick with the K Line direct to Inglewood station.

Game Day Transit Tips
Timing Your Arrival
Basketball games at Intuit Dome during the Olympics will have two sessions per day (morning/afternoon and evening). Here's a timing guide:
- Morning Games: Start at 9:00 AM. Arrive by 8:00 AM to allow time for the K Line ride plus security.
- Afternoon Games: Start at 2:00 PM. Peak K Line traffic occurs 1:00-1:30 PM, so leave earlier if possible.
- Evening Games: Start at 7:00 PM. Expect crowded trains 5:30-6:30 PM. Leave by 5:00 PM for a comfortable arrival.
Return Trips After the Game
When the game ends, everyone will exit at the same time. Expect:
- Long queues at the K Line station (plan 10-15 minutes to reach the platform)
- Increased train frequency during Olympic events to handle the surge
- Possible delays on the K Line if multiple venues are letting out simultaneously
- Alternative: Grab dinner or a drink nearby and wait 30-45 minutes for crowds to thin
Using TAP Cards Efficiently
- Load a weekly pass on your TAP card ($32 for unlimited rides for 7 days)
- Tap when entering the K Line station AND when exiting at Inglewood
- Check your balance using TAP machines or the LA Metro app
- Keep a backup payment method in case your TAP balance runs low
Other Ways to Get to Intuit Dome
Rideshare
Uber and Lyft will be available, but expect surge pricing during game times. The K Line is usually cheaper and faster than rideshare during peak hours.
Parking
Intuit Dome has on-site parking, but spaces are limited and expensive ($15-$30+ during the Olympics). The K Line is the better option.
Buses
LA Metro buses serve Inglewood, but the K Line light rail is faster and more frequent. Buses are a backup option if rail is unavailable.
Accessibility at Intuit Dome
Intuit Dome is a fully accessible venue with:
- Wheelchair seating throughout the arena
- Accessible parking in the parking structure
- Elevators and ramps on all levels
- Accessible restrooms
- Priority entrance for guests with mobility devices
- Service animal accommodations
The K Line is also fully accessible with elevators at all stations. Contact LA Metro at (323) 922-2000 for accessibility assistance.
